The vertical lathe for power generators and electric motors has the following characteristics:
- The vertical lathe Danobat is made of cast iron for maximum stiffness
- Besides the numerous options available on the vertical lathe DANOBAT, such as the motor-driven Ram, C-axis, cross rail among others, another solution on the vertical lathe DANOBAT is machining power generators and electric motors by fitting a special slot machining head. This slotting is one of the requests of our customers for enhanced dissipation of the heat generated on the electric motor.
- Danobat has designed a special head for both the non-motorised and motorised Ram. Thanks to this Danobat design, there is no need to purchase a vertical lathe with incorporated Y-axis, as these 2 heads offer the machining operations on this axis.
- The following drawings show the head of a motor driven Ram with Danobat design for the vertical lathe used for machining the above-mentioned slots in the generator and electric motor.
